Comprehensive Second Opinion

Get Expert Clarity. Make Confident Decisions.

At OncoClinic, we offer comprehensive second opinion consultations with our Consultant Medical Oncologists and Hematologists to help patients better understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and care plan.

A second opinion provides an independent, expert review of your medical condition. It may confirm your current diagnosis and treatment plan—or offer additional insights, alternative options, or advanced therapies. This service is especially valuable when facing complex diagnoses such as cancer, blood disorders, or when major treatment decisions are involved.

What is a second opinion appointment?

A second opinion consultation includes:

  • Detailed review of your diagnosis
  • Independent evaluation of pathology reports
  • Review of imaging studies (radiology)
  • Assessment of laboratory results
  • Discussion of treatment options and alternatives
  • Eligibility review for advanced therapies or clinical trials (if applicable)
  • Personalized recommendations

Our goal is to provide clarity, reassurance, and confidence in your treatment journey.

Our second opinion services include

  • Medical oncology second opinion: for solid tumors and cancer treatment plans
  • Hematology second opinion: for blood disorders and hematologic malignancies
  • Pathology review: independent expert review of biopsy slides and pathology reports
  • Radiology review: expert reinterpretation of imaging studies (CT, MRI, PET-CT, etc.)

How it works

  • Step 1 – Select the type of second opinion consultation
    • Medical oncology consultation
    • Hematology consultation
    • Pathology review
    • Radiology review
    • Comprehensive multidisciplinary review

You may choose one service or combine multiple services.

  • Step 2 – Submit your request and medical records

Complete the online form and upload your medical documents, including reports, imaging, pathology results, and lab tests.

  • Step 3 – Case review and specialist assignment

You may select your preferred specialist, or our team will assign the most appropriate consultant based on your diagnosis. Our clinical team reviews all submitted records to ensure completeness. If any documents are missing, we will contact you to avoid delays.

  • Step 4 – Consultation or expert review

    Depending on the service selected:

  • Consultation: in-person or virtual appointment with the specialist
  • Pathology / radiology review: independent expert reinterpretation
  • Comprehensive review: multidisciplinary evaluation
  • Step 5 – Receive your expert recommendation

    You will receive:

  • A clear summary of findings
  • Treatment recommendations or confirmation
  • Optional detailed written medical report (if requested)
